This is a selection of photos from my first trip to Africa. In 2012 I travelled on the back of a truck and camped in a tent (or hammock!) every night for a few months as I meandered my way through 8 countries from Rwanda to South Africa. Here’s a selection of some of my favourite photos, each one has an interesting story behind it – most of them were taken on foot and some were closer encounters than you might expect!
